About Overjoy!

OVERJOY started in 2016 in the city of Calabar (Nigeria) as a souvenir shop - selling Calabar-custom made tshirts, souvenirs and art works, targeted at tourists visiting the city.

The founding goal was to have a world-class souvenir shop in Nigeria's #1 Tourist City - Calabar. We set up shop at Marina Resort (Calabar), a tourist location housing one of Nigeria's best slave museum.

Overjoy was the first of its kind in Calabar, mirroring the quality of souvenir shops in major tourist cities across the world. Since then, we have sold hundreds of Calabar t-shirts, which have been worn in over 32 major cities in the world - including London, Swansea, Milan, Mississippi, Accra, Lagos and Abuja.

As time went by, customers loved the quality of our Calabar t-shirts and asked us to make personalized t-shirts for them. OVERJOY has now expanded to include general t-shirt branding, varsity jackets, hoodies, and more recently, the printing and making of unique keepsakes and souvenirs.

In 2020, we introduced the Ankara Mug, which we first used as souvenirs during the traditional marriage of music artiste Davido's brother in Calabar. Later on, we added the love mug, magic mugs and pen branding.

We are growing the brand into a trusted, reliable, quality brand, and continually expanding our offers to keep our customers overjoyed.
